President

Professional Experience

Mr. Huszar is the founder and President of Huszar Environmental, LLC, with more than 24 years of experience as an environmental geologist. He possesses a strong knowledge of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Technical Requirements for Site Remediation (TRSR), the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites (ARRCS), and various technical guidance documents. Mr. Huszar has been a New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) since 2014.

Mr. Huszar has performed a wide variety of site investigations, including Preliminary Assessments (PAs), Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil boring and test pit programs, monitoring well installations, underground storage tank (UST) removals and closures, vapor intrusion (VI) investigations, and assessments/investigations/remediations at large oil and gas terminals and refineries.

He has completed extensive fieldwork and regulatory reporting related to environmental insurance claims and investigations of soil, groundwater, and indoor air/soil gas. Mr. Huszar has successfully managed projects involving site investigations, remedial investigations, VI studies, environmental impact statements, Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) compliance, and numerous remedial action activities at industrial, commercial, and residential sites. He also has expertise in geotechnical engineering, with experience in settlement analysis, compaction testing, backfill inspection and testing, foundation excavation inspection, and rock mass classification.

Huszar Environmental is based in Howell, New Jersey, and serves clients across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. The company is registered as a New Jersey Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and is fully insured, including professional/pollution liability coverage.
